The Fish for Food proyect, co-supported by INIAF, WorldBank and IDRC-Global Affairs Canadá (GAC), published the book "Bases técnicas para el aprovechamiento y manejo del paiche (Arapaima gigas) en la cuenca amazónica boliviana" ("Baseline for the use and management of arapaima in the Bolivian Amazon") .The book is divided in six sections ("Aquatic diversity", "Benefits and risks of consumption", "Biology and genetics", "Introduction and invasion", "Value chains"), has 19 chapters and totals 508 pages. Overall 50 authors have participated in the book writing. The book includes some recomendations for the publc stakeholders and the actors of the fish value chain.
